Quint Mandolin is crafted by Master Luthier Qin Ji Duo from China, who learned instrument making at several manufacturers, then worked at North Field Mandolin from its inception before becoming independent. This particular instrument is a QT-A5T Torrefied Custom. It features a carved torrefied Swiss spruce top, carved torrefied figured Swiss maple back, torrefied Swiss maple neck, premium ebony radius fingerboard, medium-sized frets, Goto tuners, ivoroid binding, and a French polish finish. The Style-A neck has a 15-fret joint similar to an F-type neck, providing excellent playability even in the high positions. The radius fingerboard has medium frets, a short fingerboard end, and a scooped section from the 20th fret, resulting in exceptional playability. The use of torrefied wood for the top, back, and neck gives it a drier texture and a responsive feel that follows powerful picking, making it a fun model to play with its crisp texture that responds throughout the entire body. In addition to the regular specifications mentioned above, this model is customized with a black top, sunburst back, a smooth-textured speed neck finish on the back of the neck, a flame maple sunburst pickguard, a white truss rod cover, and block inlays on the fingerboard. The beautiful arch of the top and the overall finish demonstrate high craftsmanship and excellent taste. The French polish finish maximizes resonance and brings out a more woody sound. This is a wonderful flat mandolin that combines the beautiful, lustrous sound of plain strings with the powerful, resonant sound of wound strings. This is a one-of-a-kind custom item, so please consider it soon. Fiber case included
