Two independent 2-button TRS auxiliary controllers in one compact MXR-sized enclosure.

The Loop-Master Pedals Dual TRS Aux Footswitch gives you FOUR normally-open (NO) momentary footswitches divided into two completely independent 2-button sections.

Each section has its own isolated TRS output, with one switch controlling Tip and the other controlling Ring.

That means you can connect both sections to one piece of compatible equipment, use either section by itself, or control TWO completely different devices at the same time.

For example:

• 2 switches for a Line 6 HX Stomp + 2 switches for a Morningstar MIDI controller

• 2 switches for an Eventide H90 + 2 switches for a Morningstar MIDI controller

• 2 switches for an Eventide H90 + 2 switches for an HX Stomp

• One section for one compatible device + the other section for another

HOW EACH 2-BUTTON SECTION WORKS

Each pair of switches operates as its own independent normally-open momentary TRS controller.

SECTION 1

• Switch 1 = Tip to Sleeve

• Switch 2 = Ring to Sleeve

• Dedicated isolated TRS Output 1

SECTION 2

• Switch 3 = Tip to Sleeve

• Switch 4 = Ring to Sleeve

• Dedicated isolated TRS Output 2

At rest, each switch connection is OPEN.

Pressing a footswitch momentarily CLOSES the corresponding connection.

Release the footswitch and the connection returns to its normally-open state.

TWO COMPLETELY ISOLATED TRS OUTPUTS

Each 2-button section has its own dedicated TRS output.

TRS OUTPUT 1

• Tip = NO momentary switch

• Ring = NO momentary switch

TRS OUTPUT 2

• Tip = NO momentary switch

• Ring = NO momentary switch

The two TRS sections are electrically isolated from one another.

There is no shared Tip, Ring or Sleeve connection between the two outputs.

This allows the two sections to control two separate compatible devices while remaining electrically independent.

MIX AND MATCH YOUR GEAR

This is where the Dual TRS Aux Footswitch becomes especially useful.

Instead of mounting two separate 2-button auxiliary controllers, you get both in one compact MXR-sized enclosure.

Possible setups include:

• Line 6 HX Stomp + Morningstar MIDI controller

• Eventide H90 + Morningstar MIDI controller

• Eventide H90 + Line 6 HX Stomp

• Two compatible Morningstar Omniports

• Two separate Eventide control inputs

• Two completely different compatible devices

• Use one 2-button section now and keep the other available for future gear

LINE 6 HX STOMP USE

One 2-button section makes an excellent external FS4/FS5 controller for the Line 6 HX Stomp.

Connect one TRS cable from either section to the HX Stomp EXP 1/2 | FS4/5 input and configure the HX Stomp for external footswitch operation.

The two switches provide:

• FS4

• FS5

These can then be assigned to supported HX Stomp functions.

That still leaves the OTHER two switches and second isolated TRS output available for another compatible device.

EVENTIDE H90 USE

Either 2-button section can be connected to a compatible Eventide H90 EXP/CTL input to provide two external normally-open momentary switches.

Since the H90 provides two EXP/CTL inputs, both sections can also be used with the H90 for four external switches.

Or use one pair with the H90 and the other pair with a completely different compatible device.

MORNINGSTAR USE

One 2-button section can be used with compatible Morningstar MIDI controllers through an Omniport configured for external aux switch operation.

Each pair provides separate Tip and Ring momentary switches for supported Morningstar assignments.

Use one pair with your Morningstar controller while the second pair controls an Eventide, HX Stomp or another compatible device.

OTHER USES

This controller is not limited to Line 6, Eventide or Morningstar equipment.

Either section can be used with compatible equipment designed for normally-open momentary Tip-to-Sleeve and Ring-to-Sleeve external switching.

CABLES

Each 2-button section connects to compatible equipment using a standard TRS cable.

To use both sections simultaneously, two standard TRS cables are required — one for each pair of switches.

TRS cables are not included.

IMPORTANT COMPATIBILITY NOTE

This controller is designed for equipment requiring normally-open momentary Tip/Ring external switching.

A TRS, EXP, CTL or external footswitch jack does NOT automatically indicate compatibility.

Some equipment requires normally-closed switching, resistor networks, digital communication or other proprietary control systems.

Always check the external footswitch requirements of your particular equipment before ordering.
