Gretsch Renown Maple 8, 10, 12, 16, 22 - Satin Walnut Burst

Up for sale is a rare, first-generation Gretsch Renown Maple 5-piece shell pack in a stunning Satin Walnut Burst finish. One owner, smock / pets free home.

If you know about these early 2000s Renown kits, you know exactly why they are so highly sought after. Unlike the 2nd and 3rd generations that transitioned to imported Asian maple, this original 1st-generation run was crafted using 7 plies of Premium North American Maple. Combined with Gretsch’s iconic Silver Sealer interior and heavy-duty die-cast hoops, this generation is heavily praised for sounding virtually indistinguishable from the flagship USA Custom line—at a fraction of the price.

This specific kit is in like-new condition, meticulously cared for with no gig wear, rash, or structural issues.

Please Note: This listing is for the drums only. No hardware, stands, tom mounts, or floor tom legs are included.
