AKG WMS40 Mini Single Instrumental Set Wireless Microphone System - Band B

AKG WMS40 Mini Single Instrumental Set Wireless Microphone System – Band B

The AKG WMS40 Mini delivers lightweight freedom and natural responsiveness that keeps you focused on your performance rather than managing equipment. The miniature bodypack transmitter clips securely to your instrument or sits comfortably in hand, giving you mobility across any stage without cable tangles or restricted movement. This system strikes an ideal balance between professional-grade audio quality and practical operation that lets your musicianship shine through.

Audio Performance & Transmission

The SR40 receiver captures a warm, articulate tone with an outstanding 105 dB(A) signal-to-noise ratio, ensuring clean audio capture across vocals, woodwinds, and brass with minimal background noise. Operating on a dedicated 537.9 MHz frequency with 10 mW RF output, the system delivers reliable wireless transmission with 0.8% total harmonic distortion and a 30–20 kHz audio bandwidth that preserves the full character of your instrument.

Design & Practicality

The ultra-compact receiver housing and PT40 mini pocket transmitter minimize visual footprint while maximizing operational flexibility. A single AA battery powers the transmitter for 30 hours, eliminating frequent battery swaps during extended rehearsals or performance runs. The system includes a 1/4" receiver output, 3-pin mini XLR transmitter connector, MKG L instrument cable, and universal switched-mode power supply for worldwide operation.
