Sabian 20" HHX Legacy Ride

This cymbal sits lightly in the hand and responds with immediate articulation across the bow and bell, delivering stick definition without sacrificing wash control. The HHX Legacy Ride produces a dark, simmering tone that projects clearly at all volumes, making it equally effective for controlled playing and assertive dynamic work. Designed in collaboration with Dave Weckl, this ride balances crashability with the precision needed for contemporary drumming styles.

Tone & Projection

The unlathed sound control band on the underside limits spread and wash while preserving clarity, a critical feature for rides that need definition without brittleness. HHX Tone Projection technology generates simmering heat and musical character that cuts through the mix at any volume, delivering the dark, contemporary voice that distinguishes this series from standard rides.

Construction & Durability

Hand-hammered B20 bronze construction and precise hammering through the bow create a lightweight cymbal that responds immediately to touch while maintaining structural integrity. The 1777–1908g weight range (median 1856g) ensures the ride remains playable without sacrificing projection or tonal complexity.
