Manufactured in 1969 at Ludwig's Chicago factory, this 13" Classic rack tom is finished in original Gold Sparkle wrap. It features a 3-ply shell with clear maple interior and solid reinforcement rings, original small Classic lugs, single baseball bat/round felt internal muffler, triple-flanged chrome counterhoops, and a pre-serial/serial Keystone badge (serial number 712053).

Condition Note
The drum is in excellent vintage condition. The original Gold Sparkle wrap is vibrant, rich, and remarkably bright with virtually no fading or discoloration. The wrap seam is tight and flat against the shell with no lifting, cracking, or shrinkage. The 3-ply wood shell is completely in-round with tight, sound reinforcement rings, clean bearing edges, and an intact interior with no extra holes or modifications.
Hardware & Functionality: All chrome hardware appears original, complete, and period-correct. The Classic lugs, tension rods, counterhoops, and tom mount bracket are solid, clean, and thread smoothly without stripping. The internal muffler operates properly and seats firmly against the batter head. Equipped with clean Remo Emperor and Ambassador heads, the drum tunes up effortlessly with warm, resonant vintage Ludwig projection.
Original, structurally sound, bench-checked, outfitted with fresh Remo heads, and ready to play.
