We are selling our vintage 1980s Yamaha M1516 analog console. It was fully modded/re-built by Chris Mitchell at Flying Eye in 2015.
It has 16 channels of direct-out analog ~vibe~. 8 of the channels have original style EQ. 8 of the channels have custom (API-style) LCR EQ.
In addition to the new transformer direct outs it has completely new capacitors; modern monolithic opamps; and upgraded output transformers. It has two DI inputs custom-installed on the middle of the right-hand side. It comes with its power supply and an XLR breakout snake.
Pickup is in downtown Burlington, VT. I will ship if you pay for that. I could also potentially drop it off to the right buyer in November as I am driving from NYC to Los Angeles.
Chris documented the rebuild here: I am including some of his pics in the listing.
