Overview

The Shure SM7B is a professional cardioid dynamic microphone widely suited to vocals, speech, broadcasting, podcasting, and studio recording.

Its smooth, wide-range 50 Hz–20 kHz frequency response is designed for natural reproduction of both voice and music, while the cardioid pickup pattern helps reduce unwanted off-axis sound. The SM7B also features internal shock isolation, electromagnetic hum shielding, and selectable bass roll-off and presence boost settings.

With its XLR output, robust construction, and versatile response controls, the SM7B remains a practical choice for a wide range of professional and home recording applications.
