The "Baker's Rack" is a one-of-a-kind portable desktop Eurorack enclosure retrofitted from an authentic, commercial-only wooden crate manufactured for Walter Baker & Co. Dating between 1900 and the 1920s—the historic era before wooden shipping crates were phased out for cardboard—this antique features classic wooden finger-joint construction and crisp, original stenciled typography across its weathered faces.

Custom Layout & Technical Engineering: Measuring 13 1/8" L × 8 1/2" W × 4 1/8" D, this compact box has been thoughtfully transformed into a 38HP 7U boutique desktop system with a signature 3U / 1U / 3U layout (featuring the 1U utility row centered in the middle). Outfitted with high-grade Synthrotek rails with abundant free-sliding nuts, it provides 114HP of total rack space across its three rows. It is powered by Synthrotek's high-capacity Mini Power Supply system (+12V @ 2A, -12V @ 1.3A, +5V @ 1.5A) connected to a 10-header power distribution board—providing ample current and header count for a dense, high-performance compact rig.

Handcrafted Character & Custom Fit Notice: This is an authentic 100+ year-old finger-jointed wooden crate, not a mass-produced, laser-cut factory box. As with all genuine vintage conversions, fitting modules into place takes a touch of hands-on patience and alignment care compared to sterile modern metal cases.
