Emperor Custom 2008-2010s - Wood

Up for sale is a rare, matching early-era Emperor Custom Cabinets half/full-stack pair, handmade in Chicago, Illinois by Sean Payton.

1. Emperor 4x12 Cabinet – 8 Ohms, 300 Watts (Serial #1045)
2. Emperor 2x15 Cabinet – 8 Ohms, 325 Watts (Serial #1048)

With serial numbers only three digits apart, this pair was ordered and built together in the early Chicago shop run. Both cabs are 8 ohms, allowing you to parallel chain them together into a monolithic 4-ohm wall of sound.

(Note on provenance: These were acquired from touring backline associated with The Melvins. Because there is no formal certificate of authenticity or signed tour paperwork included, they are priced solely on their merit, rarity, and exceptional Emperor build quality. However, you can see from the pictures that it still bears the SR markings from touring. I can also provide some additional provenance, if needed).

Cabinet Specifications & Details:

• Construction: 100% void-free Baltic birch with heavy-duty joined corners, recessed side handles, and original stamped Chicago metal serial plates.
