SABIAN 14" XSR X-Celerator Bottom Brilliant Finish

SABIAN 14" XSR X-Celerator Bottom Brilliant Finish Hi-Hat Cymbal

The 14" XSR X-Celerator bottom hat captures crisp, articulate response with a grooved edge design that eliminates air-lock for clean, controlled foot articulation in the mix. This cymbal cuts through with bright, lively character while maintaining the clarity typically found only in higher-priced models. Built from B20 bronze, it bridges the gap between budget constraints and professional-grade recording performance.

Sound & Tonal Character

Expect bright, cutting tones with excellent definition—the grooved edge on the bottom hat prevents trapped air and significantly improves foot response and articulation in tight arrangements. The Brilliant finish enhances the cymbal's natural brightness, making it ideal for tracking sessions that need clarity and projection without sacrificing musicality in the final mix.

Build & Construction

Cast from B20 bronze (80% copper, 20% tin with traces of silver), this heavy bottom hat provides the weight necessary for controlled articulation and studio durability across multiple sessions. The purposeful grooved edge design on the bottom cymbal is engineered to enhance response and prevent tone-deadening air compression during recording.
