Intermediate-level Bb Soprano Clarinet. This Leblanc Serenade is made of wood and is silver plated. It is pre-owned. It was used briefly when I was in high school (only in a concert setting) before I started playing on a step-up, professional-grade clarinet. It has only been used for about 2 years total, and it was recently taken to a professional repair shop for inspection and potential repairs. The very top upper tenon cork was replaced day of this listing. All other tenon corks are in good condition, the instrument itself is in a very nice technical condition and has few, negligible signs of use. This instrument would be perfect for a wide range of individuals, but primarily for students in middle school band looking for a step-up instrument. This clarinet would also serve perfectly for someone a little older looking to learn how to play the clarinet without having to worry too much about the drawbacks and limitations of plastic/composite material clarinets. Overall, it is a solid instrument that at the very least provides the the bare essentials for a good sound with technical ease. ***It is extremely important for you to note that this listing does not come with a mouthpiece, reeds, ligature, or cork grease. You will NEED these items to use this instrument. And yes, you NEED cork grease. The top tenon cork was just replaced. It is imperative it is greased, or you risk damaging the cork, and in extreme cases, the tenon.*** Please message me if you are interested and happen to have any questions or concerns about the instrument before you decide to buy it.
