When the SDE-2000 was released in 1981, followed by this SDE-3000, both became standard delays in recording studios worldwide. Many studios still keep one on hand, and it's considered one of Roland's iconic pro rack effects from the 1980s. Stores 8 delay settings in memory, with an ultra-long maximum delay of 4.5 seconds. Delay time ranges 0-4500ms, in 0.1ms steps from 0-10ms and 1ms steps from 10-4500ms.
