From my cymbal vault. This K Zildjian Constantinople 22" 'Hi Bell Thin High' is an incredible sounding cymbal. This cymbal feature a distinct, slightly raised higher-profile bell modeled after a vintage Zildjian orchestral cymbal, delivering a crisp, clear, and projecting bell sound. The light weight provides a lush and complex dark wash, quick response, and a slightly higher fundamental pitch than low-profile models.
This was available for only 4 years. I have to believe that this was extremely tough to manufacture with consistency. You have a high-profile bell creating a bright, high-pitched ring and tight stick definition. Then you have, a paper-thin body creating a massive, dark, roaring wash. If that's not dynamic I don't know what is.
