Please read the following description concerning the condition of this drum:
This drum was hit right above the left-side spur on the lacquer finish. Whatever struck it created a spiderweb crack in the lacquer and resulted in a few small paint chips as seen. It made two hairline cracks in the inner shell of the drum and the previous owner wood glued them so they wouldn't splint any further. The damage on the lacquer is fairly smooth to the touch and I do not think it will spread or get any worse. I dont think much else can be done to repair it outside of completely repainting the drum professionally. The drum exhibits other scratches on the shell as well but nothing major to note.
The bearing edges are completely fine. No issues there. The drum is perfectly in the round.
Functionally, this drum is completely fine. No missing parts or pieces. The spurs work great. Even all the rubber o-rings on the tension rods are still there.
I put a DW resonant head on it and its used and not really the best but the previous resonant head needed to be discarded. The Aquarian batter head is in really nice shape.
