Apparently somebody at Gibson looked at the Les Paul Custom and said, “You know what this needs? More Les Paul.”

So they stretched the scale to 25.5 inches, kept the tuxedo-black Ebony finish, piled on the gold hardware, and produced a Les Paul Custom with a little more snap, a little more string tension, and enough physical presence to make your chiropractor start shopping for a boat.

This is Gibson Custom’s new Les Paul Custom Long Scale. Unlike the traditional 24.75" Les Paul scale, this one measures a full 25.5", giving it a tighter response and snappier attack while making it particularly friendly to alternate and drop tunings. Gibson didn't simply lengthen the neck, either—the model retains the full Custom treatment with a one-piece mahogany body, maple cap, ebony fingerboard, long neck tenon, 490R/498T humbuckers and gold hardware. 

And at 10.1 pounds, you won't have to wonder whether you remembered to put your guitar on.

She was born on July 14th, 2026 and is unplayed and mint. No buckle rash, no mystery dings, no fret wear, and no evidence that somebody spent three weeks learning the opening riff to “Sweet Child O’ Mine” before returning it.

Includes the original Gibson Custom hardshell case, Certificate of Authenticity, case candy/accessory kit and paperwork shown in the photos.

This is basically everything you love about a black Les Paul Custom—the Ebony nitro, pearl blocks, split diamond and enough gold hardware to require sunglasses—with a 25.5" scale that gives the strings a noticeably different attitude.

Return Policy- 

We do accept returns up to 14 days from the point of the initial sale, which means that the guitar must be back in our possession within this 14 day period. However, please be aware of the following conditions: If for any reason you wish to return the guitar, just call or email me directly, within 24 hours of your receiving the item, and let me know that you want to return it. Once we receive the guitar back, in the same condition, you will receive a refund, less a $50 restock fee. Also be aware that the initial shipping fee is not refundable under any circumstances.
