Hello, up for sale is an Emerson Pre-wired Les Paul wiring harness. Please note, I had this made specifically for a Les Paul that had Joe Barden Soap Bars. JBE suggests using a 250k pots, so I had the folks at Emerson make me a wiring harness that features 250k pots.
So before the harness arrived, I had an opportunity to trade the Les Paul Classic towards an LP Custom that I've had my eye on. So now I have this harness laying around and it should be put to good use.
If you have a guitar that's a bit bright this may be the answer to your questions.
The JBE pickups with 500k pots were really bright - almost shrill. The 250k pots really tamed them (I had experimented with some CTS pots before having the harness made and my theory proved correct).
Let me know if you have any questions. This harness was made specifically for a Les Paul guitar anx the pots are long shaft.
