Up for sale is a fantastic 2007 Gibson Custom Shop Historic 1956 Les Paul Standard Reissue (R6 Goldtop) featuring Gibson's authentic V.O.S. (Vintage Original Spec) treatment.

Crafted in Nashville, TN during the celebrated golden era of the Gibson Custom, Art & Historic division, this R6 delivers all the legendary P-90 chime, punch, and growl that defined early rock, blues, and roots music.

The factory V.O.S. process gives the guitar a gently aged, broken-in vintage aura straight from the factory—featuring softly aged nickel hardware (with natural matte patina on the ABR-1 bridge and lightweight aluminum tailpiece) alongside a hand-buffed vintage nitrocellulose patina on the Antique Gold top.

Built with vintage-accurate Historic construction, it features a solid carved plain maple top over a non-weight-relieved solid mahogany body, long neck tenon, a substantial early-'50s rounded neck profile, and an expressive set of original Gibson Custom P-90 pickups.

This instrument is in excellent condition and comes as a complete collector's package—including its original Custom, Art & Historic Certificate of Authenticity (COA) folder signed by Rick Gembar, factory hangtags, warranty booklet, and the original Gibson Custom black hardshell case with burgundy/purple plush lining.
