Up for sale is an awesome 1998 Gibson Les Paul Standard in a gorgeous original Natural / Honey Amber finish, built at the Nashville factory on July 8, 1998 (Serial No. 91898425). Late-90s Les Pauls are renowned for their exceptional craftsmanship, solid feel, and classic tone—making this "Good Wood Era" build an incredible player's piece.
Finish & Aesthetics: Beautiful original Natural finish showing off clear plain-maple grain with rich wood character, paired with classic amber top-hat knobs and cream binding/pickguard.
Body & Neck: Solid mahogany body with traditional 9-hole weight relief, paired with a solid mahogany neck and a dark, rich rosewood fretboard with classic trapezoid inlays.
Pickups & Electronics: Factory-installed Gibson 490R (neck) and 498T (bridge) humbuckers delivering iconic Les Paul sustain, warm lows, and aggressive bite.
Condition: Overall in good original condition with structural integrity fully intact. Honest player wear includes light surface marks, a small finish ding near the lower bout edge near the binding, scuffs on the cutaway binding (clearly documented in photos). Fret life is strong and the neck is straight.
Case: Includes the original 1990s Gibson brown hardshell case with hot-pink plush interior. Note: The internal satin shroud is missing, and while the latch with the combination dial still fastens/closes properly to keep the case shut, the combination lock mechanism itself is non-functional.
Ships fully insured and securely packed. Feel free to message with any questions!
