KRK V8 Series 2 Professional Active Studio Monitors – Pair

Selling my pair of KRK V8 Series 2 bi-amplified active studio monitors.

These are from KRK’s professional V-Series, not the Rokit range. They have been well looked after and remain in very good cosmetic condition for their age, as shown in the photographs.

Both monitors power up and reproduce audio correctly. The 8” Kevlar woofers and tweeters are fully working and in very good physical condition.

PLEASE NOTE: Both monitors have developed a low-level background hum. They reproduce audio normally, but the hum is noticeable when idle or when monitoring at low levels.

Apart from this, they still sound excellent. They are powerful monitors with plenty of level and headroom and have served me extremely well in the studio.

Given their age, the amplifier/power-supply electronics may benefit from servicing. Ageing capacitors are one possible cause, but I have not had them professionally diagnosed, so I am selling them exactly as described rather than claiming a specific repair is required.

I simply don’t have the time to have them serviced, and the asking price reflects this.
