Here is a 2001 Smart Wood Les Paul Exotic.

The guitar is built out of mahogany, with a curupay top. It weighs in at 8.8 pounds. It features a nut width of 43mm, and a rounded '59 D shaped neck. Also a standard 12" radius and 24.75 scale length. The guitar has been set-up with new 10 gauge strings here at the store and has a great low action. Truss rod functions as it should. Everything concerning the electronics in this guitar is all original. So that would be a Gibson 490R in the neck and a 498T in the bridge. This guitar is 25 years old, and has clearly been played. There are various indentations in various places on the guitar, they are all minor and pictured as best as I can get them. Because the guitar is natural satin they are very hard to photograph. There is also a photo of the gold hardware showing the small amount of tarnish and pitting. If you look at the photos of the back of the neck, there is some wear from playing. This guitar will ship in an aftermarket TKL case that is in good condition and all latches function.
