Rare full 88 key Mark I Rhodes from the 1970s, most you find are the 73 key version. Comes with the matching amp and speaker cabinet base. (if you want the cabinet, you’d have to pay separate shipping)
Selling mainly because my wife isn't a fan of the look or sound, I got it for our living room and it's not winning her over… so it has to go.
Sounds incredible. Action and damper tension need a proper setup from a tech, no completely dead keys but a few are weak. Stereo vibrato works perfectly, one of the more failure prone parts on these, so that's a great sign overall.
Cabinet speakers aren't producing sound right now, running it through an external speaker instead. It's literally missing the fuse holder and fuse, everything else on the amp works fine, parts are about $7 from a specialty supplier and that stereo setup reportedly sounds amazing once it's fixed.
Solid cosmetic shape for 50 years old. Ripped tolex on the back panel and torn speaker grille cloth on the cabinet's back, both face the wall so not noticeable. Front looks good. Top case cover included, tolex peeling, retolex job runs about two hours and $30 in material. Everything original.
Located in Altamonte Springs, Florida. Open to good trades only, no motorcycles, ATVs or purebred bulldogs.
