This is a badass 1966 Fender Pro Reverb with tons of character and a unique history. This amp survived Hurricane Katrina…and still purrs like a kitten, so you KNOW she’s ready for some more gigging.

I mention that up front so you know why she’s got some peeling Tolex and water-related cosmetic wear. But underneath it all, she’s solid. The cabinet has a beautifully replaced solid-pine baffle that gives the amp some serious structural stability.

This is far from your average stock Pro Reverb—it’s a Swiss Army knife of a vintage Fender with a wide range of tones.

Mods & Features

• Tremolo cut switch — removes the tremolo circuit and adds gain
• PPIMV master volume — crank the amp while keeping the volume manageable
• Added mid control (rear panel) on the Vibrato channel for thicker, higher-gain tones
• Rear-panel VOX-style hi-cut to tame the highs when pushing the amp
• Brownface-style modification to the Normal channel, turning it into a surprisingly high-gain, aggressive channel

The result is a Pro Reverb that can go from classic Fender cleans to thick, aggressive overdrive, with a huge amount of control over the feel and voicing.

This is not a museum-piece, all-original collector amp. It’s a vintage Fender with real history, cosmetic wear, extensive service work, and thoughtfully chosen modifications. The amp is responsive, lively, and ready to be played.
