Very cool and genuinely unusual 2012 Fender FSR Classic Series '72 Telecaster Deluxe in Tangerine Flake/Sparkle.

This is one of the limited 300 produced for this FSR run, but this particular example has an unusual factory error: the headstock was mistakenly branded “Fender Stratocaster” at the factory rather than Telecaster.

The factory error has been confirmed by Fender, and all of the identifying numbers/specifications match a genuine factory Telecaster Deluxe. The serial and other identifying details are numbers-matching throughout, confirming that this is not a parts-built or assembled guitar.

In other words, the incorrect Stratocaster branding isn't a modification or aftermarket replacement—it left the factory that way.
