Every Rhodes we restore for sale receives our highest level of craftsmanship, with over 30 hours dedicated to bringing it to exceptional playing condition. Our process goes beyond the original factory setup, carefully preserving the instrument's iconic tone while addressing any of the wear and tear that it has experienced over the decades. Throughout the restoration we prioritize period-correct vintage components whenever possible, or select the highest-quality reproduction parts when necessary. In the end, our aim is to bring out the best of the Rhodes while staying true to the sound of its production period and ensure that it is ready to be enjoyed for decades more to come. All of our restorations come with our highest seal of approval and are covered by warranty.
This piano comes from the Mark II period (1979-1983), characterized by having a very balanced sound across the keyboard and a smoother bark than the earlier Mark I's. At the time of the transition from the Mark I to the Mark II the only change was the cosmetic redesign with the ribbed "flat top" and new black namerail. The Janus amplifier in the Mark II Suitcase offers a wide range of EQ control and vibrato speeds.
