The Evans dB One system pack equips a kit with 10-, 12- and 16-inch tom heads, a 14-inch snare head and a 22-inch bass head for quieter practice with an acoustic playing feel. Evans specifies an 80% volume reduction while retaining the kit’s tonal character. ShockWeave Mesh and Kinetic Transfer Foam work with the reinforced Impact Patch surfaces to preserve bounce, attack and articulation.

The snare head uses wire-free Snare Sim technology to reproduce snare-style buzz and crack. The cymbal set adds 14-inch hi-hats, 16- and 18-inch crashes and a 20-inch ride, plus a 22-inch cymbal bag. Its dBalance spiral perforations reduce volume to about one-fifth while preserving chime and resonance. The heads are made in the USA; the nano-plated stainless-alloy cymbals are made in China.
