At 2535 grams this cymbal is an airy, dry and slightly complex sizzle ride, 3 rivets appear to be factory installed and original. Attentively hammered and finely lathed, with a warmth and smoothness that only 60+ years of age can add. Very minimal overtones or wash for an A from this period. The bell is shallow but still retains a good stick chime, the overall profile of the cymbal is also pretty flat for this era, giving good stick definition and control with an instantaneous shimmer from the rivets at the slightest touch. Check out the video for a demonstration.

"Crashable" in any situation you would be using a riveted ride for (as in not slamming it for hard rock or metal context) excels as a jazz ride or a textural ride for any other pop to rock spectrum group, I have used it in a small combo jazz context for a few years, records well. Condition wise there are some small fleabites in the cymbal edge as well as a small edge crack which has been professionally repaired (both pictured.) I'm not sure what to make of the three flat hammer marks in the bell on top of the cymbal but they don't appear on the bottom side of the cymbal and have been lathed so they are from the factory. Tape residue on the backside, and some keyholing which you can see in the pictures, no cracks so it should remain in good condition on any modern cymbal stands.
