Romero Creations Signature Tenor Ukulele — Spalted Mango (2020)

Handcrafted by Pepe Romero's team at Romero Creations, this Signature Tenor is built from a single, dramatically figured piece of spalted mango — the kind of black streaking and grain movement you can't order twice, since every spalted mango top is one-of-a-kind. Solid mango top, back, and sides; mahogany neck; ebony fingerboard and bridge; and genuine abalone purfling wrapping the entire body outline, plus an abalone-inlaid "Romero" signature on the headstock.

Purchased directly from Romero Creations by Harvard House Music, a Fresno instrument shop that's been repairing and selling stringed instruments since 1983; this one has been part of our in-store ukulele collection ever since, kept in a humidity/temperature-controlled shop environment the whole time (no attic, no garage, no case-in-a-closet). Light shelf/display time only, no gigging — which is why it presents in excellent, essentially like-new condition: no dings, no finish checking, no fret wear of note. We're just now bringing pieces from our in-store collection online, so this is the first time it's been listed for sale anywhere and is currently strung with D'Addario Fluorocarbon High G strings.
