IAK era K 22" heavy ride, 3250 grams.

These are pretty difficult to find, and this one is with the earlier coarser lathing and sounds particularly good, since it sits in the musical low end of the weight range. It is basically a perfect ride for recording heavy rock like Alice in Chains and metal-adjacent genres, as the ping comes through guitars with heavy distortion, but it's dark and not piercing.

Not too heavy, pitched similarly to the Sabian Todd Sucherman ride, but does not sound glassy. Opens up a little bit, sounds surprisingly good when you crash the edge, with no weird tones and a nice sustain. The ones over 3400g usually sound cool too, but are a bit tighter sounding.

The hole is slightly out of round, and there is some edge roughness and a few nicks. I have photographed the worst of them (not a chip prone to cracking, but the kind of metal depression you often see on older cymbals, easily smoothed with micromesh or low grit sandpaper if one chooses). No cracks or major structural problems.

If you are looking for one of these, I doubt you'll be disappointed in this one.
