Shakmat Lancer's Lash Snare Drum Synth Module

The Shakmat Lancer's Lash is a compact Eurorack snare drum synthesizer designed to cover a broad spectrum of percussion, from tight, familiar drum machine hits to metallic, fractured and experimental textures.

Rather than relying on a single snare architecture, Lancer's Lash provides multiple synthesis models drawing on virtual analogue, physical modelling, granular and FM techniques. Each model offers its own sonic character and dedicated processing options, including distortion and waveshaping, making it possible to move well beyond conventional snare sounds into synthetic percussion and unusual rhythmic textures.

An integrated random modulation system can introduce variation independently to each parameter, allowing anything from subtle changes between hits to dramatic transformations. Velocity control provides additional dynamics for expressive sequencing and performance.

For live use and repeatable patches, Lancer's Lash provides 256 non-volatile preset slots. Presets can be recalled using CV or Select Bus, allowing complete sounds to be switched and sequenced as part of a larger modular patch.
