Kerry Char Tenor 2017 - High gloss

This exceptional 2017 Kerry Char custom “Frog” 5 string tenor ukulele features beautifully figured curly koa throughout the top, back, and sides. Its high-gloss clear finish brings out the remarkable depth and movement of the koa. Premium appointments include a mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard, snakewood rosette and binding, red purfling, and a distinctive iridescent abalone-style shell frog inlay.

This is a five-string tenor arranged in four courses. The G course is doubled, with the two strings tuned one octave apart, giving the instrument a fuller, more dimensional voice while retaining familiar tenor-ukulele tuning. It also features a side sound port for an enhanced player-listening experience. There are a total of 20 frets.

The ukulele is in excellent, near-mint condition with no flaws to report. There are no noted cracks, repairs, dings, or visible wear. The action currently measures approximately 3.6 mm on the G side and 3.3 mm on the A side at the 12th fret. A player may prefer to have the setup adjusted to personal taste.

Includes a fitted Ameritage hard case.
