Deering USA Boston 5-String 11" Resonator Banjo w/Hard Case

Up for sale is a 2010 Deering Boston 5-String Banjo in Very Good condition, complete with its original factory hardshell case. Crafted in Spring Valley, California, the Boston series is renowned for its proprietary rolled steel rim that provides crisp projection, powerful volume, and long sustain.

Overview & Build Details:

• Year of Manufacture: August 2010 (Serial # 08620010N945)
• Rim/Pot: 3/16" durable rolled steel rim (serves as an integral tone ring)
• Neck: Tropical mahogany with a comfortable, fast profile
• Fingerboard: Genuine dark ebony with pearloid dot inlays and the engraved "Boston" block at frets 18–19
• Hardware: Nickel-plated, including Deering planetary tuners and geared 5th string peg
• Head: Deering 11" frosted top head
• Case: Original Deering archtop hardshell case with plush interior and functional latches

Condition & Playability: The banjo is in very clean, well-cared-for shape. Frets are in excellent shape with no visible signs of wear, as this banjo was hardly played. The neck is straight. There are no structural issues. There is a chip on the rear surface of the headstock (see photo).

Case is in good condition with some scuffs and a nick in the vinyl wrap (see photos).
