Michael Kelly Dragonfly Custom F-Style Mandolin — Emerald Green
This mandolin was brought to us on consignment from an older woman who could no longer play due to escalating joint pain in her hands. The mandolin is hard to find in this color and is missing the inner badge with serial number and model number, but the specs provided have been given to us by the owner and verified with our staff.
•Finish: Emerald green gloss, flame maple back
•Fingerboard: Dark wood with abalone/pearl vine-and-dragonfly inlay
•Headstock: “MK” fleur-de-lis inlay, gold-tone tuning machines
•Hardware: Gold
•Electronics: None
•Tailpiece: Currently fitted with an Allen USA tailpiece, but the original Michael Kelly one-piece tailpiece is included
•Includes: Original hardshell case (green velvet-lined interior) and brown leather strap
As mentioned earlier, the serial/model sticker inside the f-hole is missing, so exact production year is unconfirmed but features are consistent with an early-2000s Dragonfly Custom.
