This RetroAktiv DW-8P is a second run MK1. It has the latest firmware for it, 3.07 and memory too. It has a new rotary knob because the stock knob didn’t tick and was jumping/sticking values when moving. The new knob ticks and it moves one value per two ticks.
It was a firmware issue not working with the original rotary knob. RetroAktiv said they needed to make a newer firmware for the MK1 to deal with the sticking values but it wouldn’t happen anytime soon so they recommended the new ticking rotary knob I had put in and two surface mount caps.
All faders move as they should. Selling because I have another controller that works well with my EX-8000 and better with other synths I have so I‘m selling to save space and cash.
