The MC-50 MKII is a rare gem. One of the few sequencers that will not only do step sequencing, but linear sequencing.
It has 8 tracks but you can store 16 channels per track allowing control of 128 parts simultaneously. Having 2 MIDI outputs allows control of 32 independent instruments. 1 MIDI input and 1 Thru port, giving control of a network of instruments.
The upgraded MKII will save and read standard MIDI files. So you can transfer your sequences to any modern DAW and back to the MC-50 MKII again.
It also has "Super MRP" software that allows you to load sequences automatically, and can be controlled with a foot pedal for live performances.
You can also use a secondary foot pedal for punching in and out when tracking.
