Ridenour Lyrique Aurea Bb Clarinet

Ridenour Lyrique Aurea Bb clarinet I purchased in November 2023. I used this instrument throughout my freshman year of university. I have been able to achieve multiple principal positions with this instrument. This clarinet offers a very dark and warm tone. The body of the instrument is made of hard rubber (just like most mouthpieces) which means the instrument is stable in all weather types and has zero chance of cracking as opposed to wood. The keys are silver plated with gold posts, though the keys are definitely tarnished. There are a few key corks missing (the throat tone G#/Ab key cork is missing and the top 4th side trill key cork which causes it to open the 3rd side trill key when pressed). The tenon corks are in fantastic condition due to only using natural cork grease. The throat A key screw likes to undo itself frequently as well as the alternate Eb/Ab key adjustment screw. The instrument definitely needs a service. The keys are very clacky and out of adjustment, hence the low price. The bore is good as it came. I believe with a service this instrument has plenty of potential. I’m selling this with a 66mm Ridenour Ivorlon barrel (which I’m quite fond of) as well as the stock barrel which I believe is 64mm. I probably wont send it in the same case that’s pictured. I’ll post a link to a performance where I used this instrument.
