dbx 266XL Compressor/Gate – Fully Functional

The dbx 266XL is a versatile two-channel compressor/gate designed for both studio recording and live sound applications. It's a great piece of outboard gear for controlling dynamics, tightening up vocals and instruments, adding punch to drums, and managing unwanted noise.

The 266XL features dbx's classic OverEasy® compression, selectable hard-knee operation, adjustable attack and release, and an Auto Dynamic™ mode that automatically adjusts attack and release based on the program material. The two channels can also be linked for stereo operation.

The built-in expander/gate provides additional control over noise and unwanted signal between performances, making this a useful processor for vocals, drums, guitars, keyboards, mixing, and live sound.
