Did you ever wish a front address mic could switch to be a side address to fit into a tight spot? Well, the Blue Hummingbird small diaphragm microphone with a swiveling capsule could be the answer! I have found it very useful on a drum kit, acoustic guitar, percussion and piano; basically anywhere that you might need to fine tune the mic placement without having space to move the mic body around. Just rotate the swivel capsule to find the sweet spot. It works. This mic uses the classic Blue B1 capsule, with a very even frequency response, and great signal to noise ratio. Handles high SPL signals up to 129.5 dB well with really articulate, but not overdone high end. The mic has flat frequency response throughout the midrange, a slight bump below 100 Hz, and a bit of a presence peak at 4.5k. There are no high-pass or pad switches, but with this dynamic range capability, I have never needed either. I have a matched pair, but I'm listing them separately, just in case someone just wants one.
