• These are Sabian's most expensive Hihats. Aristan - they're $900 at Big Box stores. But these are the discontinued Artisan ELITES!

  • $900. Damn!

  • These are some of the most beautifully crafted cymbals they have ever produced. Signed and numbered under the bell of the cymbal smith who made them.

  • And this particular pair has a very sweet light complexity to them.

  • The Artisan Elite Series is a little bit darker and drier than the straight up Artisans. They have more of a partial lathe vibe with very heavy Hand Hammerings. And the Top Cymbal is generally thinner too.

  • Weighing in at only 766 over 1124 grams, this particular pair of 14s" plays like thin, dark, semi-dry complex hihats. The 1124  gram bottom ensures a solid chick tone when played with your foot. And the thin 766 top keeps them extremely responsive with a hint of smokiness.

  • Focused and controlled without sounding dead or clanky. They have a delicate softness to them and a very light and subtle liveliness.

  • Absolutely fantastic condition. No issues. Light patina naturally built up. Truly some of Sabian's finest work.

  • And you can hear them before you buy so you can buy with confidence!

  • Discontinued and gorgeous. And they’re no where near $900!!!
