- Here's a tight and focused sounding K Custom that was even hard to find when it was produced.
- This K Custom plays like the 18” Paiste 602 Flat Ride - that’s the vibe. Tight, focused, crystalline shimmer. But darker than most K Flats you’ll run across.
- As many of you know the absence of a bell controls the overtones and volume in a Flat Ride, and that is exactly the case of this two-decade-old K Custom Flat.
- Now add the smaller 18” size and you have a terrific, tight and controlled cymbal with pinpoint definition on top.
- Weighing in at a lovely 1710 grams, and of course, being a Flat Ride, this 18” delivers a fantastic focused and very chime-like attack. It has a bit of a glassy shimmer to it, like the Paiste 602 Flat, but this penetrates a mix better than the thinner Paistes and it is noticeably darker sounding.
- Amazing shape for a 25 year old K Custom. Very CLEAN.
- BOLD logos.
- Unique, very defined tone.
- A hard to find Zildjian that sounds nothing like what they offer today!
