Vintage German Speakers - Telefunken Klangbox L250 Acusta

Up for sale is a pair of vintage Telefunken Klangbox L250 Acusta loudspeakers, made in West Germany around the late 1960s / early 1970s.

These speakers feature classic German Alnico drivers, including a 20 cm woofer and two angled elliptical tweeters. The angled tweeter arrangement provides wide sound dispersion and a spacious presentation.

The speakers are 100% original and fully operational. All drivers have been tested and both speakers play evenly and properly.

Sonically, the L250s have a detailed, open midrange and perform particularly well with vocals, jazz, acoustic and classical music. Their efficiency also makes them a good match for lower-powered vintage tube and solid-state amplifiers.

Cosmetically, the speakers are in very good vintage condition considering their age. The wooden cabinets show some minor scratches and normal signs of use. The original grilles are included. Please review the photos carefully for details.

The speakers will be carefully packed for shipping in a strong box with adequate protection and will be shipped fully insured with tracking. Local pickup is also welcome and preferred.
