• The Alesis Microverb II is a classic 16-bit digital reverb unit released in 1988. Renowned for its compact "one-third rack" size and signature late-80s/early-90s "lo-fi" character, it relies on a proprietary Alesis R.I.S.C. processor to deliver 16 distinct, non-editable preset programs. It remains highly sought-after by musicians and producers chasing indie-rock, shoegaze (famously utilized by bands like Galaxie 500), and gritty electronic music textures.
