I bought this maple drum kit in the late 90s from Guitar Center in Minneapolis as a custom order. Back then there was just one model of DW drums that are now referred to as "pre collectors" series.

When I configured this kit, the idea was to have various tom options ready to go for gigging and studio work.

I gigged with them a few times and recorded them once. Since then, they've spend the rest of their life in cases.

No modifications. No extra holes.

May show some light signs of use, but are in excellent condition. I regret not playing them more over the years. They are gorgeous drums that sound incredible.

I believe these are the Keller era shells and have reinforcement rings, as you can see from some of the pictures.

For now I am listing as local pickup because I don't want to hassle with shipping, though I am friends with people at a couple of shops that may be willing to help me ship for the right buyer. That said, I would not consider shipping outside of the lower 48 states.
