Rare Champagne faced Marantz 2270 stereo receiver serial number 1988. Since the serial numbers for the 2270s started at 1000 and only the first 5000 had the champagne face with embossed lettering , this is only the 988th one made. I purchased this receiver from a long time friend who had it in his hall closet for decades. I had my local expert tech thoroughly go through it and get it in great working condition. He had to replace some capacitors and other components and now it is ready for you to enjoy for some time. Besides the electronic improvements, new cool blue LEDs were added, new velum paper and new feet. There is a slight bend in the upper left corner that I did not try to work on as I'm not proficient in such things. I will double box it for shipping. Ships to continental US only.
