OPTONICA RP-7705 Turntable

This rare unit works and plays great at both 33 & 45 speeds. The fine tuning knobs for both speeds are stiff and when turned do not affect speed at all. Speed remains locked. Tonearm cues up and down, drops right where it should and rejects properly. The APLD buttons click & light up and cause the arm to lift and search, but sometimes it finds the track correctly, sometimes it does not. Perhaps cleaning the infrared sensor would fix this.

• The glass dust cover is in great shape & the hinges function properly.
• Audio Technica headshell installed with what appears to be an Audio Technica AT4030 cartridge. Stylus is in good shape.
