Remo Bravo 13x11" Floor Tom Acousticon R - 1990s - Deep Red Quadura

Here's a cool piece of Remo drum history at Daytona Beach Drum Center. This 16" x 16" Bravo Series floor tom comes from Remo's 1990s drum line and features the company's Acousticon R shell technology and distinctive Deep Red Quadura finish.

The Bravo Series was designed to bring Remo's Acousticon shell technology to a more accessible drum line while retaining the projection, consistency, and tonal characteristics Remo was known for. Acousticon shells are constructed from laminated wood-fiber material and resin rather than conventional plywood, giving these drums a unique construction and sound.

This 13" tom delivers the deep, full low end you'd expect from a 11" drum while maintaining plenty of projection and focus. The Deep Red finish looks particularly sharp with the chrome hardware and is a great example of the more distinctive finishes Remo offered during this period.

The drum has the original Remo Bravo badge, Bravo lugs, and original hardware. There is some cosmetic wear from age and use, which is visible in the photos, but overall this is a very cool and increasingly uncommon Remo floor tom.

A great choice for completing a vintage Bravo kit, adding a matching floor tom to another Remo setup, or simply putting together a unique drum collection.
