This flute has just been meticulously serviced by top New York woodwind tech Emile Catricala. It plays perfectly through the entire range. Pads are in good condition with perfect seal and all keys move freely. All sections fit together smoothly and securely. For a beginner to succeed on flute they need a free blowing instrument, and this one fits the bill perfectly. There are some small cosmetic imperfections (see pictures) but nothing that affects tone or playability. Case shows signs of wear and has a piece of tape on it covering a crack, but is fully functional. This is a great deal on an American made flute that originally sold for over $500.
