Vintage Sennheiser BF 509
This is the Black Fire 509 version of the Sennheiser MD 409, one of the best dynamic microphones to have in your arsenal. This microphone dates from the 1990s and is in excellent working condition.
Over the years, I have tested many MD409 and BF509 microphones, and this is among the best-sounding examples I have encountered.
The capsule has been well preserved and delivers the rich lows and low-mid frequencies one would expect from such a microphone. The original foam has been replaced, as it should be.
Serial number: 13647. Includes a Sennheiser clip.
