A fantastic example of the Gibson Custom Shop’s ’57 Les Paul Junior Reissue, this 2018 Vintage Sunburst VOS captures everything that makes the original late-’50s Juniors so desirable. With its wonderfully straightforward single-pickup format, classic Les Paul Junior styling and beautifully understated Vintage Sunburst finish, this is a superb example of Gibson’s recreation of one of the most iconic player’s guitars ever produced.

This particular example is in Excellent condition, with only some expected light marks from buffing visible across the finish. There is also one very small chip to the top corner of the headstock, which is worth noting for complete transparency. Otherwise, the guitar has been very well cared for and presents beautifully, retaining all the character and appeal of the VOS finish.

The simplicity of the Junior design is a huge part of its charm, offering a direct and incredibly responsive playing experience with the kind of raw, immediate character that has made the model a firm favourite among players for generations. This is a guitar that rewards being plugged straight into a good valve amplifier and played hard, while the comfortable neck and straightforward controls keep the focus firmly on the instrument itself.
