Magnatone Twilighter Head with Custom Benson 1x12 Cab and Custom NEO-WHIZZER Unit - Owned By Buck Meek (Big Thief)

This package includes the following quite unique items, built for and used by Buck Meek of Big Thief. Here's some words from Buck:

"-Magnatone Twilighter Head ($3400 new), modded with master volume knob, and TRS inputs for "Neo-Whizzer" style auxillary volume controller by Blue Dinosaur Electronics. This amp was used on all Big Thief tours from 2015 until recently, and was used on our records Capacity, UFOF, Two Hands, & Dragon New Warm Mountain I Believe in You. To my ears this is one of the best-sounding tube amps being produced today. It's built like a tank, with a Deluxe-style 6V6 circuit and the original patented Magnatone pitch-shifting vibrato.
-Custom Benson 1x12 speaker cabinet with Night Moves covering and Oxblood Grille Cloth ($1059 new)
-Custom "Neo-Whizzer" robotic auxillary volume controller designed by Blue Dinosaur Electronics (see explanation below)

NEO-WHIZZER - I had Blue Dinosaur Electronics in Chicago design, prototype, and build this device, based on Neil Young's "Whizzer" robot that turns the knobs of his tweed deluxe for him with a preset footswitch. This gives you a modernized version of Neil's Whizzer, which allows you to turn the pre-amp and master knobs up or down independently and simultaneously with a footswitch, without having to turn around or take your hands off your guitar. Me and Adrianne Lenker both used these rigs on our albums and live from 2016 until the present. ---The auxillary motorized pre-amp gain and master gain pots on the Neo-Whizzer Box override the pre-amp and master pots on the Magnatone head when the Neo-Whizzer is connected via TRS cables. ---The Neo-Whizzer Controller has 4 footswitches that recall preset settings on the motorized pots.---The TRS inputs on the Magnatone head bypass the gain pots in the same location in the circuit, so you're essentially just replacing them with motorized pots that can recall presets. 

My goal with this was to remove all gain/overdrive and boost pedals from my pedalboard, and just use the Neo-Whizzer for all gain staging, and it was totally successful. This will ship with my saved presets, which are: (1) Mid-volume & clean, with pre at 4 and master at 10 (2) Mid-volume & mid-dirt, with pre at 7 and master at 7 (3) Mid volume & heavy-dirt, with pre at 10 and master at 5 (4) High volume (boost) & heavy-dirt, with pre at 10 and master at 10"
